Rask tried to get back into play after his surgery.

I felt good during the rehabilitation. The exercises were successful up to four times a week. In his last match against Anaheim, however, the Finnish goalkeeper realized that not everything in his body was right.

– As I stretched, I stretched my groin and hip a little, it just got worse. Then it was time to be honest with yourself.

– I would have been able to fight, but what sense would it have been to play 60 percent of the games and then take a break from here for a week. I would have exported (goalkeeper) Jeremy Swaymanin place. It was best for everyone to quit. My career was great and I don’t regret anything.

The decision was not monitored at night.

– It’s easy. I have always been honest with myself. Why try if you can’t play at the level that teammates and the audience expect in addition to themselves?

– Immediately after my decision to quit, I said he could call if he needed me.
