Care staff residential care group GVO cycle for charity

With the bicycle tours, the residential care group wants to put itself in the spotlight as an employer. Vacancies are open in all residential care centers and they are difficult to fill. Sporty people come and go at the Sint-Vincentius residential care center in Kortrijk, one of the 10 residential care centers of the GVO network. Among them are many people who work in healthcare and today jump on their bicycles for a trip of 50 kilometers or more past the residential care centres.

And while the care platoon crosses West Flanders, the ten residential care centers hold an open day. Anyone can take a look inside today. The residential care network GVO hopes to attract new people in this way, care and kitchen staff, but also technicians.

Charity

The proceeds from the cycling tours through West Flanders go to the Alzheimer’s League for people with dementia. 60 participants go for the 200 kilometers, a circuit through West Flanders via Kortrijk, Veurne, Ostend and Tielt.
