On the N366 near Zandberg, a car overturned this morning for unknown reasons and ended up on its head. The driver was injured and taken to hospital.
The motorist is said to have skidded around 6:30 a.m., possibly due to the wet weather conditions. The vehicle was lying across the road, temporarily closing the N366 at the Drents-Groningen provincial border. Emergency services reopened the road shortly after.
No other vehicles were known to be involved in the accident.
