The Brailleweg will be completely open to car traffic again on Saturday 27 May. Car traffic can then drive directly from the city center and the station to the A28 or De Wijert.
This road had been temporarily closed off since March and set up as a cycle path.
Brailleweg had been temporarily closed to car traffic in one direction since March. One of the two lanes was temporarily set up as a cycle path. Because the bicycle bridge over the North Willems Canal will reopen on Saturday (the Munting Bridge), the cycle path is no longer necessary.
In order to set up the new situation, Brailleweg will be completely closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on the night of Friday 26 to Saturday 27 May.
