The victim was removed from the vehicle with the help of the fire service and was treated in an ambulance. Not much later she was taken to hospital for examination. The impact completely destroyed the house and left a large hole in the outer wall.
The car was probably launched over the bridge in Schafferweg, drove through the gardens and then into the house. The house is being renovated: as far as we know no one was there. The house is located in front of a T-junction, and local residents have previously complained about the traffic situation there. For example, a road narrowing would actually make the situation worse. It is not the first time that accidents have happened.
The police have investigated the circumstances and the insurance inspector will also be called in. Police say the woman does not have a driver’s license.
