A motorist left the road in Zuidwolde tonight for an unknown cause and came to a halt in a garden. Several people were said to have been in the vehicle.
The accident happened on the Steenbergen, north of the village. As far as is known, no one was injured. A number of trees and a parked car were damaged.
Police are investigating how the accident could have happened.
