A car rammed into the facade of a house on Paulus Potterstraat in Helmond on Sunday evening. The driver had run off the road for unknown reasons and drove into the front yard of the house. The car came to a stop against the wall. The facade was severely damaged as a result.
The resident of the house, who was watching TV, was unharmed but was quite shaken. The driver was arrested and taken to the police station.
Neighbors took care of the man. Ambulance staff are still examining the man. It is not known whether he was taken to the hospital. It is unknown where the man spent the night. The scooter parked in front of the house was a total loss.
