Traffic had to take into account a heavy traffic jam on the A2 from Den Bosch towards Eindhoven, near Best-West, from half past one to half past two on Sunday afternoon. Two cars collided at that exit around half past twelve in the afternoon. A car lay there on its side.
For a long time, only the left lane at Best-West was still open.
The traffic jam was five kilometers long around one o’clock in the afternoon and started at Boxtel. The delay was more than half an hour around one o’clock in the afternoon.
There was a large police and fire presence. An ambulance also came to the A2 because one of the occupants was reportedly stuck. But in the end everyone managed to get out of the cars involved fairly independently.
