At the end of the afternoon, a car ended up on its side on the Veldstuks in Emmen for an as yet unknown cause. This happened on the roundabout between the Hondsrugweg and Veldstuken. The driver escaped unhurt and was able to climb out of the car on his own.
After the accident, the driver was checked not only by ambulance personnel for injuries, but also by the police for possible alcohol consumption. Because the breath test showed that the man had too much alcohol in his blood, the man went with the officers.
Due to the settlement of the accident, there was a traffic jam for some time up to the Hondsrugweg.
