Two vehicles collided with each other on the Deputeerde Laanweg in Andijk this afternoon. One of the cars ended up in the adjacent ditch. No one was injured in the accident.
The accident happened this afternoon around 1:30 PM, near the Gerrit de Vriesweg. The exact cause of the incident is still unclear. But probably one of the vehicles made a priority error.
Very shocked
Several emergency services have been called to assist the victims. One car ended up in a ditch after the collision. A police spokesperson confirms that no one was injured in the accident or had to be taken to hospital for a check-up. Several dogs that were in one of the vehicles were also unharmed. According to the spokesperson, they would be very shocked, just like the two drivers.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage from the collision. There is a considerable number of debris at the intersection between the Deputeerde Laanweg and Gerrit de Vriesweg. A recovery company takes the two cars.
