When trying to drive to a gas station, a vehicle hit a cyclist and crashed into a pillar.
On Sunday afternoon, the driver wanted to turn his vehicle to a gas station on Fritz-Erler-Allee (Neukölln). He caught a cyclist and then slammed against a concrete pillar at the gas station with full force.
The cyclist was injured and taken to the Neukölln hospital. The driver stayed where he was. The bike broke in half, the rear wheel was broken and shredded.
There were traffic delays in the intersection area. The police are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
