A car crashed into the crash barrier on the A28 near Pesse tonight. The driver was released with a fright, after a check in the ambulance it turned out that the driver did not have to go to the hospital.
The car drove south, towards Hoogeveen. It is not clear how the accident could have happened, but it is possible that the wet road surface caused less grip. Other highway traffic experienced some disruption around the accident site.
