The Gran Turismo game series is already well advanced in development. When competing in car games, the incompetence of computer opponents can often become frustrating. The British car magazine Top Gear says that the biggest motor sports game manufacturers are now developing a computer opponent that is even more capable with the help of artificial intelligence. Among others, Polyphony’s Gran Turismo 7, Milestone’s MotoGP series and Turn 10’s Forza Motorsport are developing artificial intelligence opponents for their games.
