Two people were injured in a serious accident in Zuidschermer last night. It is not known how the accident happened and how serious the injuries are.
Last night around 9.15 pm a serious accident occurred on the Westdijk (N244) in Zuidschermer. A passenger car went off the road, flipped over and ended up in the ditch with its nose. As far as is known, no other cars were involved in the accident.

Two people were injured in the accident and were taken to hospital by ambulance with unknown injuries. It is still unclear how the accident happened. The police are investigating the accident.
The Westdijk was closed to traffic in both directions for some time and cars were diverted via surrounding roads. The road was reopened to traffic around midnight.
