A car fire caused quite a bit of (smoke) damage in the center of Grave on Sunday night after the fire spread to a house. Something happened on the Oliestraat. According to a 112 correspondent, five residents of the house where the fire also started were checked by ambulance employees as a precaution. They had inhaled smoke.
As far as is known, none of the residents needed to be hospitalized. Police believe the fire was lit.
The report of the car fire came to the fire service late Sunday evening, just before half past eleven. When the fire brigade was in the Oliestraat, the fire had already spread to the house. The windows of a second house also collapsed due to the heat of the fire. A car parked across the street was also damaged.
