A man rammed into the building of the Stoofhuis in Grave with his car around a quarter past one on Monday afternoon. The Stoofhuis is a shelter for elderly people with dementia.
According to a 112 correspondent, the man drove straight through a fence and came to a stop at the Hengel in Grave against the building. No one was injured, according to the correspondent.
However, the driver and the residents of the Stoofhuis were quite shocked. The man would have driven into the parking lot after which it went wrong.
Photos show that the property is quite disrupted. It’s not clear what caused it to go wrong.
