A motorist was injured in an accident on the A28 near Beilen last night. The victim went off the road for unknown reasons.
The car eventually came to a stop in a ditch, near a gas station.
The driver was helped out of the car and taken to hospital by ambulance. The police are investigating the cause of the accident. During recovery of the car, a lane of the A28 was temporarily closed.
