Car drives into crowd – 17 injured

A car apparently drove into a crowd in Stettin, Poland. 17 people are said to have been injured, as the AFP news agency reports, citing the authorities. Polish media also reported unanimously about the accident. Videos and pictures are circulating on social media X showing injured people on the ground and distraught passers-by.

According to the Gazeta Wyborcza newspaper, the car is said to be a Ford. The vehicle sped towards a pedestrian crossing. Several people were blown up. At least 17 people were injured, some of them seriously.

A picture is said to show the alleged perpetrator in a completely destroyed car. Numerous emergency services can also be seen looking after the injured. The recordings cannot yet be verified.
