A motorist was killed in a traffic accident in Spa in the morning, department prosecutor Gilles de Villers Grand Champs announced.
For an unknown reason, a vehicle with three occupants left the road and crashed into a tree. No other vehicles were involved. “The driver died on the spot. The passenger in the back was seriously injured and taken to hospital. The third occupant is unharmed,” said the prosecutor’s office.
An expert has been sent to the scene to determine the exact circumstances. “According to the first elements, it seems that the driver was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” said the prosecutor.
