A motorist crashed into a guardrail on the A37 this afternoon. The accident happened near Holsloot.
The victim was removed from the car and taken to hospital. The fire brigade was called after the accident because the driver was reportedly trapped. That just turned out not to be the case. An air ambulance was also called, but was sent back after a few minutes.
The exit to Coevorden was closed for some time during the emergency services and the repair of the guardrail.
