A car rolled over in Spijkerboor tonight and then came to a stop against a lamppost. The collision happened on the Molenwijk. The driver has been arrested for possible drug or alcohol use.
The vehicle entered Drenthe from Veendam. In Spijkerboor, the car would have hit a boulder, after which the driver lost control. Due to the accident, the car, with a foreign registration number, was badly damaged.
The driver was checked by paramedics after the crash, but was not injured.
