A car on Blankenslaan-Oost in Hoogeveen caught fire late on Saturday evening. Firefighters used a foam extinguisher to bring the fire under control.
The parked car was badly damaged by the flames. The cause of the fire is currently unknown. Car fires have been occurring regularly in Hoogeveen for several years.
