A car went up in flames in the Emmerhout district of Emmen last night. According to bystanders, fireworks were set off near the vehicle.
The emergency services were called to Laan van de Eekharst just after 1 a.m. Upon arrival, flames erupted from the vehicle.
Firefighters were able to limit the damage thanks to extinguishing work, but could not prevent the car from partially burning out.
