A car broke in two late Friday evening on the N285 between Made and Zevenbergschen Hoek. This happened around a quarter to eleven.
The driver lost control on the straight road and the car hit three trees along the road.
Research
The motorist would have been thrown out of the car by the impact, let a 112 correspondent know. Due to the seriousness of the situation, several emergency services were called. A trauma helicopter also came to the N285.
The road was closed to traffic after the accident. The police started an investigation.
