Capital Bra invited all of its Bratans and Bratinas on Instagram on Tuesday to donate heftily to those in Ukraine affected by the current war. For this benefit, Capi immediately consulted other rappers from the German rap and entertainment scene. Among the participants were Sido, Kontra K, Knossi and Kalazh44.
The rapper announced the whole campaign quite spontaneously in one of his Instagram stories and linked his live stream for this. Energetic and full of enthusiasm, Capi commented on his project: “Knossi is there, Kontra K is coming soon, Kalazh is coming soon.” Rapper Sido was connected live via telephone. He also shouted: “Guys, donate! Donate, folks!”
Subsequently, Capital Bra’s label “Bra Musik” announced on Instagram that the stream should have raised more than 100,000 euros. The proceeds from the donation are intended for emergency aid in Ukraine. Anyone who would like to donate to a good cause can continue to do so on the platform Betterplace.org do.
Capital Bra has a special connection to Ukraine. The Russian-born rapper spent much of his childhood in the Ukrainian city of Dnipropetrovk.
