After only a few hours, Capital Bra deletes the disstrack “Ja Capi”. Learn more here.
It’s certainly not the first disstrack that Capital Bra has released. But unlike the song “Wesh Bira”, which the Berlin rapper released together with Ozan on August 4th, the most recent song “Ja Capi” was deleted after just a few hours. It is not yet clear why. In the track there should have been clear naming of his hated genre colleagues instead of subliminal allusions. Specifically: “Yes Capi, Yes Capi / F*ck Bushido, F*ck NGEE, F*ck Yakary,” the hook said. Insults and swear words were also used.
The dispute between Capital Bra and NGEE escalated when the ex-protégé left Bra’s music label and released the disstrack “Kommissar Bra”, which also featured Capi’s family. The rapper apparently reacted to this in “Ja Capi”: “I don’t give a shit if people understand that / But rappers will never mention my family again,” would be another line in the piece.
Capital Bra got into an argument with the artist Yakary because of the monochromatic cover design of his last single, which is strongly reminiscent of that of the newcomer. But above all, one suspects the reason for Capi’s song Bushido’s new single “Dark Knight”, which will be released on September 1st. Fans are expecting a new disstrack against Capital Bra. In their opinion, the joker that adorns the cover of the single alludes to Capi’s pseudonym Joker Bra. The two rappers have not been on good terms with each other for several years.
Capital was supposedly hoping for a truce, as he said in his Instagram story about his deleted song: “I hope you shut up now. That was just a bone I threw down. I didn’t even shoot a video for you guys. […] Please stop nagging or it will really escalate!”
