Canteen thieves get 14 months in prison
One of the victims was the Gold Star football club in Voormezele. The thieves made off with televisions, laptops, a sound system and dozens of empty beer containers in September. There was also a lot of damage, including to the back door. The three must pay Gold Star 1,563 euros in damages.
The three were arrested because they were filmed in the Spar in Mesen the day after the burglary in Voormezele. There they tried to cash in the empty bins. These are unemployed men from Comines-Warneton.
