TEverything is ready for the Cannes Film Festival 2023. The event will kick off on May 16thwith the first red carpet opening, and will continue until May 27, when the closing ceremony will stage the assignment of the coveted Palme d’Or. Will be Clare Mastroianni, daughter of the unforgettable Marcello and Catherine Deneuve, the godmother of the 76th edition. Expected 11 days of screenings, events, noble parties such as the amfAR. Who will stand out on the red carpet, for better or for worse?
Clothes and looks have always been central to the Cannes Film Festival. From the 50s to today, there are many stars who have trod the famous French red carpet, catalyzing the attention of the world public. With results, on the fashion side, more or less successful.
Recent history: the tops and flops of Cannes 2022
Going backwards, we need to dwell on the best looks of the past edition of Cannes 2022. Just remember Naomi Campbell at the presentation of the film Heojil Kyolshim: for its grand rentrée on the Croisette, the panther bet everything on a dress Valentine Haute Couture feathered, which didn’t fit her perfectly and left little room for the imagination.
The best promoted looks of Cannes
In and out. In the review of the best (and worst) best looks of Cannes, everything is really over. The past teaches: to pay are the put of effect but that do not lose elegance. The “rejections” in the history of the Festival
For so many top looks, the history of the Cannes Film Festival also recalls several flops. Among the less chic, the exit of Kristen Stewart in 2018 for the premiere of BlacKkKlansmanin a mini dress Chanel from the Fall-Winter 2013/2014 collection.
