Cannabis plantation dismantled in house at Tolheksbos in Hoofddorp

At the end of the morning yesterday, the police found a cannabis plantation in a house at the Tolheksbos in Hoofddorp. The more than 240 plants that were in the house have been cleared. No one has been arrested yet.

A spokesperson said that the police were not tipped off, but discovered the cannabis farm themselves. He does not want to say anything about the reason for going to look at the house. The spokesperson did say that electricity was also being tapped illegally.

Dangerous

The police have seized equipment in addition to more than 240 cannabis plants. Both the plants and equipment will be destroyed. The spokesperson emphasizes that illegal power tapping entails risks for local residents, because a short circuit or overheating can cause a fire.

The police will talk to the tenants of the house about possible involvement in the cannabis plantation. It is also being investigated whether more people are involved.
