A 16-year-old teenager in Canada shot his mother, then killed two police officers. Then he also took his own life. The mother was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Chief Inspector Dale McFee identified the dead officers as Travis Jordan, 35, who had been with the Edmonton force for eight years, and Brett Ryan, 30, who had been on the force for five years.
