Police in the Canadian city of Toronto have shot a man who was walking on the street with a rifle near schools. Four schools in the area were closed as a precaution. Two schools were soon declared safe again, the other two remained closed for a while. Police later announced that the man succumbed to his injuries. There is no further threat.
