TORONTO – Police in the Canadian city of Toronto have shot a man who was walking on the street with a firearm near schools. Four schools in the area went into lockdown as a precaution. Two schools were soon declared safe again, the other two remained closed for a while. Police say there is no longer any danger. The injured man is receiving medical attention.
