Canada Goose announces further changes to its leadership team

At the clothing supplier Canada Goose Holdings Inc. the personnel carousel continues to turn. On Wednesday, the Toronto-based down jacket specialist introduced a new executive while announcing an impending departure.

Accordingly, Beth Clymer will take over the newly created position of President, Finance, Strategy & Administration on January 8th next year. In this role, she will be responsible for the finance, human resources, corporate strategy and legal departments and will work closely with the current managers in these areas.

According to her future employer, Clymer was involved in the clothing retailer’s IPO in 2017 while working at financial investor Bain Capital, the majority owner of Canada Goose. Most recently, she served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at technology company Jobcase Inc. for four years.

Marketing expert Penny Brook is leaving the company

In her new role at Canada Goose, she will report directly to CEO Dani Reiss starting in early January and will work alongside Jonathan Sinclair and Neil Bowden, who are also changing positions. Current CFO Sinclair is scheduled to take over management of the APAC region on April 1, and Sinclair’s current deputy, Bowden, will be the new CFO.

The company also announced that Penny Brook, who currently serves as Chief Marketing & Experience Officer, will be leaving the company at the end of the month after more than a decade. Carrie Baker remains responsible for global marketing activities as President, Brand & Commercial. Daniel Binder will continue to lead the company’s reform projects as Chief Transformation Officer.
