The Italian F4 series continued on Sunday in Monza.
After starting the race from the stop screen Tuukka Taponen the race ended in Monza on Sunday morning with an exit at the end of the race.
The Finn fought fiercely for sixth place and tried to overtake after the main straight Alfio Spina. However, the pass failed, and Taponen ran over Spina. The Italian was able to continue the journey and finished eighth, but Taponen drifted onto the sand.
Based on the live image, the Finn survived the crash with a start, but was unable to continue the journey. In the first race of the weekend, Taponen was handsomely third.
The Sunday morning race was won Arvid Lindblad before Kacper Sztukaa and Ugo Ugochukwu.
The third and also the last race of the weekend starts at 15:20 Finnish time.
The F4 series continues after Monza from July 21 to July 23. In France at the Paul Ricard circuit.
