On May 17th, Abor & Tynna will compete for Germany at the ESC with “Baller”. How are the contributions acted with betting providers beforehand. A German victory therefore seems rather unlikely. The sibling couple goes into the race for the bookmakers as an outsider.
The highest chance of winning is estimated at 21 percent and goes to “Bara Bada Bastu” from Kaj from Sweden. JJS “Wasted Love” for Austria takes second place in the betting shops with a probability of 15 percent. And in third place Yuval Raphael is found with “New Day Will Rise” for Israel with 12 percent.
From 12th place all have the same chance of winning, 1 percent or less. Abor & Tynna fall into this area with “Baller”.
As bet
Previous victories influence the likelihood. “Eurovision World”: “If a country was statistically successful at the Eurovision Song Contest, this is taken into account by the betting providers when determining the quotas.”
For Germany, Lena has triumphed with “satellite” and flowers with “a little peace”. However, two victories are obviously not enough to lift the probability of winning from Germany to over 1 percent. Especially not after the songs for Germany have often occupied the last places in recent years.
Stefan Raab interfered again
After casting Lena for the ESC as part of a 2010 casting show, Stefan Raab made the qualification competition for the “Chief Matters ESC 2025” this year. Abor & Tynna won with her German -language song, even if the procedure certainly produced criticism. The audience was able to listen to the chorus “I never come back / no matter what you tell me / I Balla la la la la la la ler holes in the night” but not to hear.

Who is the competition?
In German-speaking countries, JJ is otherwise competing with his pop-opa “Wasted Love”. According to “Standard”, JJ is “an experienced countertenor who recently was one of the three boys in the magic flute premiere at the State Opera.”

And while Abor & Tynna come from Austria, Zoë Më from Germany competes with “Voyage” for Switzerland. Her song is also referred to as a “pop ballad”, and it is accompanied by a piano and string orchestra.

As with “Baller”, the chance of winning is estimated at 1 percent.
