C.arlo and Camilla, future king and queen consort, have decided to permanently put aside the ancient Royal tradition of maintaining impartiality at all costs. The prince openly condemned the Russian invasion, but they are the tears barely held back by the Duchess of Cornwall in listening to the choir of the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral in London to have moved the British.

The Duchess wanted to prove hers solidarity with the over 70,000 Ukrainian citizens living in Great Britain.
And he did it with a private donation to a fundraiser initiated by the British tabloid Daily Mail for the victims of the war, which in four days since its launch has exceeded three million pounds.
The husband Carlo had already sent a donation to the British Red Cross, of which he is patron.

So said Camilla to Inna Prystaiko, wife of the ambassador of Kiev in London, during a meeting with representatives of the community. And a spokesperson for her commented: «No one is able to remain indifferent to the harrowing scenes of Ukrainians fleeing their homes and the Duchess somehow wants to offer her help“.

Accompanying the duchess was her husband Carlo, who wanted to remember “the extraordinary courage shown by the Ukrainian people in a terrible aggression”.
And surrounded by children from an Anglo-Ukrainian school in London, the prince, who had once compared the Russian president to Adolf Hitler, accepted a drawing from a schoolgirl that reads “Stop Putin”.
