Camila starts well in the first set, then gets back from 3-0 and gives 6-3 6-2
Camila Giorgi fails to enter the semifinals at the WTA 250 in Birmingham. Camila, number 26 in the world, stopped in two sets against the Brazilian Haddad Maia 6-3 6-2. In the first set Giorgi immediately starts strong, snatching the joke from her rival and climbing 3-0. Then, Camila loses the feeling with the serve, she gets back together and with 4 double fouls and barely 50% of first in the field she is no longer able to keep the serve losing the first set 6-3. In the second set she again a double fault for the Italian who thus gives up the service in the fourth game and ends up 3-1 down. The Brazilian naturally grows in confidence, and goes 4-1 and has three 5-1 balls. The Italian player manages to save herself, but she succumbs in two sets.

After defeating the Czech Tereza Martincova, n.56, and having repeated herself by beating the American Lauren Davis, n.108, she ran into a rival in great shape like the number 32 in the world, fresh winner in Nottingham of his first WTA title.
