The clothing brand Camel Active needs a new license partner for their shoe collections. The textile group Bültel Group, which holds the master license for Camel Active, announced on Friday that it had ended the licensing cooperation for Camel Active shoes as a result of the insolvency of its previous partner HC Footwear GmbH.
The group of companies is now “working intensively on a continuation of the Camel Active shoe lines for men and women with a new licensee from autumn/winter 2023” and wants to “present this in a timely manner”, according to a statement. In the meantime, according to the company, “attractive inventory product packages” are to be used to bridge “the autumn/winter 2022 and spring/summer 2023 seasons, in which there will be no new goods”. Thus, the “market presence” of Camel Active shoes is guaranteed.
According to the Bültel Group, the corresponding products are “manufactured by HC Footwear GmbH in cooperation with Hamm Market Solutions and in coordination with the provisional insolvency administrator Dr. Peter Jacob from Osnabrück via the agencies Claus Gese (North/East), Chris Scherer (South/West) and Alexander Decock (Belgium)”. The aim is to market the stock goods “mainly via specialist retailers and the Camel Active Stores”, the company explained.
