The outdoor brand Camel Active has further expanded its presence in East Germany. Since the beginning of September, three new mono-brand stores have been opened in Rostock, Stralsund and Potsdam together with the franchise partner Mast Do – Retail Trading Company GmbH, Camel Active announced on Tuesday.
Stefan Tiemann, one of the managing partners of Mast Do, explained the latest expansion steps: “We are committed to continuing our hitherto successful strategy of occupying tourist locations,” he explained in a statement. “With Camel Active, we already have a strong presence in coastal locations along the North and Baltic Seas in Germany and also see great potential in tourist metropolises such as Potsdam or Dresden.”
Mast Do now operates 21 Camel Active stores. According to its own information, the brand currently has a total of 40 stores in Germany and a further 59 in other European countries.
