Camel Active appoints Jürgen Sabelhaus as CSR officer

Clothing brand Camel Active has underlined its commitment to corporate social responsibility with a personnel decision. On Friday, the company announced that Jürgen Sabelhaus had already taken on the newly created position of Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Management on May 1st.

In this function, the 52-year-old now reports directly to the Camel Active managing directors, Volker Weschenfelder and Frank Brüggemann. Since 2002, Sabelhaus has been responsible for product compliance, washing technology and environmental protection at the Bültel Group, which holds the master license for Camel Active.

“After Jürgen Sabelhaus, as project manager, has already significantly promoted the topic of sustainability at Camel Active for two years, we are pleased that we were able to fill the CSR management with an absolute textile expert with many years of experience,” explained Managing Director Brüggemann in a statement.
