Calvin Klein collaborates with Palace

Calvin Klein launches a collaboration with skate brand Palace.

For the “CK1 Palace” collection, Calvin Klein’s minimalist design language is combined with Palace’s modern, wild style, the brands announced on Tuesday. The aim is to celebrate the shared enthusiasm for “nostalgia, self-expression and inclusivity”.

The collaboration relies on Calvin Klein-typical pieces such as underwear and T-shirts as well as denim products. Complementing the collection are basketball jerseys and sweaters that tap into Calvin Klein’s ’90s aesthetic. The brands have also brought the Vans brand into the team for the right footwear, which, like Palace, is anchored in skate culture.

Part of this cooperation are also some novelties for Palace. On the one hand there are underwear for women for the first time and on the other hand the first own fragrance, for which the classic “CK One” fragrance was relaunched.

“It was really exciting and inspiring for me to see how people outside of Calvin Klein interpret the brands and their history,” said Cob Jordan, Global Chief Merchant, Head of Product Strategy & New Product Ventures at Calvin Klein. “With Palace, the story we wanted to tell came to life.”

The campaign, shot by Alasdair McLellan, features a very diverse cast. Actors Joan Collins and Willem Dafoe, the band Pet Shop Boys, rapper Unknown T and members of the Palace skate team will also be there.
