Forget the automatic legal system at a marriage, never before have so many couples concluded a marriage contract to protect their own finances more. Five years ago there were still 35,506 of those contracts, last year there were already 40,000 marriage contracts. Not only young couples opt for it, but also people who remarry, for example.
