The Swiss clothing group Calida Group loses an important manager. On Monday, the company announced the departure of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Sacha Gerber in an ad hoc announcement. Gerber decided to “take on a new professional challenge outside the group,” explained the parent company of the brands Calida, Aubade, Cosabella, Erlich Textil and Lafuma Mobilier. The “process to determine the successor” will now “be initiated immediately”. Together with the management, Gerber will “ensure a smooth handover over the next few months”.
CEO Timo Schmidt-Eisenhart paid tribute to the outgoing manager, who has been in charge of the finance department since July 2018: “With his high level of expertise and his great commitment, Sacha D. Gerber has contributed to the successful strategic development of the group over the past four years and has played a key role in sustainable development involved in the growth of Calida Group,” he said in a statement. “We would like to thank him for his performance and valuable contributions, with which he helped shape the focus and, most recently, internationalization of the group. We very much regret his departure and wish Sacha D. Gerber all the best for his professional future.”
