The Brazilian football legend, whose real name is Marcos Evangelista de Morais, lost his mansion worth around 7.5 million euros in December. The mansion is located in the municipality of Baruer, in the metropolitan area of ​​São Paulo.

Brazilian magazine O Globo reported that the manor was forcibly auctioned at a price of 4.6 million euros. The local court decided to auction the property due to Cafu’s loan payment problems.

Cafu’s defense objected to the forced auction, arguing that the estate is his family’s primary residence. It did not help. The property was bought by a Brazilian company.

Cafu was given 45 days to hand over the gigantic mansion. According to O Globo, there are a whopping 2,581 square meters in the destination. The four-story building has, among other things, an elevator, a cinema, a swimming pool and six suites. A soccer field has been built in the yard.

This is not the first time that Cafu has lost its holdings due to debt problems. 2019 Spanish magazine Marca reported that Cafu lost five of his properties. The same year he closed his charity due to financial difficulties.

Cafu has repeatedly denied personal money concerns.
