Café boss sells coke and has ecstasy in his pocket: police close catering business

In the night from Saturday to Sunday, the police evacuated and closed a café in Tilburg because the owner was dealing in drugs. Someone from camera surveillance saw a drug deal, after which officers took a look. The man turned out to have dozens of ecstasy pills and ziplock bags of cocaine in his pocket.

The camera surveillance employee saw the drug deal between two men on the terrace of a cafe. The buyer, a 32-year-old Tilburger, was caught by the police and heard as a witness. The man had drugs with him and said he had just bought cocaine from another man. After this, the seller, a 50-year-old fellow citizen, was arrested.

Dozens of ecstasy pills
He had several dozen ecstasy pills and several ziplock bags of cocaine with him, the police reported. He turned out to be the manager of a café on the Heuvel. The police then cleared and closed the place. It concerns Tapperij De Lange Goedzak on the Heuvelring.

The man is suspected of dealing in and possession of hard drugs.
