On Monday, March 27, 2023, Prime Minister Rutte and a delegation from the Dutch cabinet will receive a delegation from the German government, led by Chancellor Scholz, for government consultations. The meeting will take place at the Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen.
The theme of the meeting in Rotterdam is the further strengthening of the bilateral relationship between the Netherlands and Germany in numerous areas. The ministers talk to each other during various bilateral meetings about German-Dutch cooperation in the fields of foreign affairs and defence, climate and energy, economy and infrastructure, justice and culture. The consultations are concluded with a joint working dinner.
On the Dutch side, in addition to Prime Minister Rutte, the following are present: Minister Kaag of Finance, Minister Adriaansens of Economic Affairs and Climate, Minister Jetten for Climate and Energy, Minister Hoekstra of Foreign Affairs, Minister Yeşilgöz-Zegerius of Justice and Security, Minister Ollongren of Defence, Minister Harbers of Infrastructure and Water Management, State Secretary Van der Burg of Justice and Security and State Secretary Uslu for Culture and Media.
On the German side, in addition to Chancellor Scholz, the following are present: Minister Lindner of Finance, Minister Habeck of Economy and Climate, Minister Baerbock of Foreign Affairs, Minister Pistorius of Defense, Minister Wissing of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, Minister Roth of Media and Culture and State Secretary Özdemir of the Interior.
