In several regions, there are currently so few forensic doctors to perform an autopsy in time that an emergency measure is in place. Health Minister Ernst Kuipers writes in a letter to the House of Representatives that in those regions basic doctors, general practitioners, GGD doctors and other medical specialists can be temporarily deployed to investigate unnatural death or a suspicion thereof.
