C&A will use Zalando Fulfillment Solutions in the future

The clothing retailer C&A Europe has further expanded its cooperation with the Berlin e-commerce specialist Zalando SE. On Tuesday, the company announced that it would now also use the Zalando Fulfillment Solutions (ZFS) service offering as part of the Zalando partner program. This gives C&A “direct access to the partner’s logistics network,” the textile supplier said. In the future, it will be possible to “process orders for customers even faster and more reliably”.

The new collaboration covers six important markets: “A curated selection for women, teenagers, men and children is now available in the Zalando Fashion Store in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, France and Italy,” C&A said in a statement .

The clothing retailer has been participating in Zalando’s Connected Retail program since 2021

By using ZFS, the clothing retailer is expanding its e-commerce partnership with Zalando, which has existed since last year. In February 2021, C&A joined the online retailer’s Connected Retail program, and over the course of the year the cooperation, which was initially limited to the German market, was extended to numerous foreign markets.

Joris van Rooy, Chief Consumer & Digital Officer of C&A Europe, praised the cooperation so far: “We are very satisfied with our cooperation with Zalando and we are very much looking forward to creating even better access to the best of C&A together with Zalando ‘ he said in a statement.

The company is currently pushing its omnichannel strategy. In an interview with the business newspaper Handelsblatt at the beginning of the year, CEO Giny Boer announced the goal of increasing the online share of total sales to fifty percent by 2025 at the latest. Cooperation with e-commerce specialists such as Zalando should contribute to this. Only recently, C&A also announced a corresponding partnership with Amazon.
