C&A is bringing “XL Collection” back to storefronts

In 2022, the clothing retailer C&A Europe took its separate “XL collections” from the stationary store areas, now this decision is being revised. The collections, which have only been available online since then, will be included in the local range again, C&A announced on Thursday.

The relaunch followed customer feedback, according to the retailer, whose collection for larger sizes for men and women is now relaunching in brick-and-mortar stores. In 2022, the decision was made with the best of intentions, but it would not have met the needs of the customers, according to Düsseldorf.

“Diversity and size inclusivity have always been part of C&A’s DNA and of course continue to be of great importance,” the statement said. “C&A is committed to open and transparent communication with customers and works intensively to meet their concerns and expectations.”

The “XL Collection” will be reintroduced in the stores in two phases, starting in October, and expanded for the spring/summer 2024 season. The entire collection will then be available both in stores and on the brand’s webshop.

In 2022, the collection was offered for women and 800 stores, while for men it was 400 stores. In the future, the collections should be available again in the branches where they were last sold.
