In addition to Pearlydumm, the band plays more big hits such as The Old Calahan, The Banjo Man, Just an Illusion, Waltzing Maria and of course the latest single Thanks. “I’ve never had it before, but I just got a little emotional,” says drummer Jack Veerman. “Maybe it was all those enthusiastic fans, but I really had to try hard to hold on to my drum sticks.”
A special day for the band and also for the 250 fans from home and abroad. Singer Carola Smit also looks back on the last performance with a good feeling. “We said a grand farewell in Ahoy in 2007 and that was already very nice, but the fact that you can do this for the loyal fans who have always supported us is very special.”
